You know it’s Christmas time once again when Zooey Deschanel is on our screens, charming our cotton socks off with Christmas-themed songs.
That happened Wednesday night on Jimmy Kimmel Live, further proof that we’re entering that most wonderful time of the year.
She & Him, the indie pop duo of Deschanel and M. Ward, were the musical guests on Kimmel, where they used the occasion to give us a holiday treat. The pair performed “Christmas Day,” a Brian Wilson-penned Beach Boys cover lifted from their 2011 holiday set A Very She & Him Christmas.

She & Him clearly love this time of year. They released a second LP of yuletide joy in 2016, Christmas Party. Of course, Deschanel announced herself to a global audience in 2003 with her turn as Jovie in Jon Favreau’s cherished Christmas comedy Elf.
