Shaquille O’Neal just took his rivalry with LaVar Ball one step further — by releasing a diss track.
The track, which premiered on TMZ, showcases the famed former basketball star’s lesser-known skills as a rapper, featuring lines like “I’m about to spit facts/ I walk in Reebok in ’92, I came out with them Shaqs” and “You want to battle D’s, you better have endurance/ before you crash man, get that General insurance,” referencing both his shoe line and role as spokesperson for The General Car Insurance.
The Ball-O’Neal rivalry began in May, when O’Neal called out the former basketball-football player for the price of his Big Baller Brand ZO2 shoes, which cost $495.

Ball then retaliated by stating that he and his son, LaMelo Ball, could “kill” O’Neal and O’Neal’s son, Shareef, on the court.

While O’Neal’s track makes clear he doubts this would be the case–saying, “First you can beat Mike, then you can beat me/ Wake that ass up, you havin’ a dream” — he does end the otherwise-vehement track on a positive note. He uses some of the final lines to compliment Ball’s parenting and LaMelo’s attitude and skills, saying “You’ve done a great job, I love how your sons play/ And lil ‘Melo too, attitude hella cool/ Jumper wet wet like two thots in a pool.”
