One of the simplest pleasures in this world is watching celebs squirm and share while playing the dishy “Plead the Fifth” as part of Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live.
For the uninitiated: Host Andy Cohen will ask the guest three questions, and they can “Plead the Fifth” to only one — but if they plead the fifth early, you have to answer the (still unknown) remaining questions. This game is best for clarifying long-ago scandals, anything that happened in the ’90s, and whether or not a certain celeb ever hooked up with a former co-star. It should go without saying that most celebrites are also drinking at this point.
A game Shania Twain played along during Wednesday night’s WWHL, and she took a risk pleading the fifth early, during a question regarding who — between Celine Dion, Mariah Carey, Gloria Estefan and Aretha Franklin — was the most challenging to work with during the 1998 Divas concert. After calling them all “really wonderful,” she ultimately laughed and declined to answer.
Probably smart: There’s no answer there that doesn’t result in an angry phone call. But that meant she had to answer an OMG SO AWKWARD question about that time she found out her friend was having an affair with her then-husband. Win some, lose some.
