“I’m just trying to get all this adrenaline out because I just made a complete fool of myself and experienced one of life’s most embarrassing moments, and I’ve lived through that!” Twain — who tripped while presenting Male Video of the Year to Blake Shelton — said while laughing after the show.

“I’m here to tell you that I now realize I don’t need a stunt double… to wipe out on my way to the CMT Awards stage,” she laughed.
“I didn’t hurt myself,” she went on. “I have a bit of a sore stomach. That’s about it.”
As for her heels? “I’m going to auction off those shoes, actually! I want to get rid of them as soon as I can,” she said. “I never want to see those shoes again. Or maybe I’ll keep them as a souvenir.”
Earlier in the day, Twain announced that she had signed a deal for a two-year residency at the Colosseum at Ceasars Palace in Las Vegas.
