Twain placed several pieces of tour memorabilia up for sale on pledgemusic.com on Friday, July 14, with hopes of bringing awareness to the foundation she started back in 2010. Some of the pieces up for grabs include the custom motorcycle the singer rode on stage during her Las Vegas residency in 2012 while performing “You’re Still the One” (priced at $100,000), a dinner date with the songstress and hubby, Frédéric Thiébaud, (also $100k) and the iconic Shania Twain “Man! I Feel Like A Woman” dress ($7,500).
The sequined black bodysuit was designed by Marc Bouwer and made by Glynda Conaway specifically for her “Man I Feel Like a Woman” performance. It also comes with the pair of silk gloves and top hat she wore, along with a letter of authenticity. Of course, if you’re looking for something a bit more casual, her “You’re Still the One” outfit from the singer’s Vegas residency is also up for auction. The ensemble consists of a pair of custom bright pink cowboy boots, light denim wash jeans, a pink beaded plaid wrap shirt, her cowboy hat and a one-of-a-kind patchwork coat designed by Marc Bouwer ($7,500 for all pieces.)
According to the nonprofit’s website, the singer founded organization back in 2010 as an “effort to relieve the economic, social and personal sufferings of children that she herself experienced as a child. Shania Kids Can operates in elementary schools throughout North America delivering programs that aim to provide all-inclusive support and stability by qualified professionals in the form of one-on-one consultations as well as group activities and opportunities all while in the safe, confidence-building environment that is the Shania Kids Can Clubhouse.”
