Now that Super Bowl LIV is done and dusted, the analysis begins. The winner wasn’t the team that scored the most points. Nope, it was a Colombian singer. Or more precisely, her tongue.
Shakira’s wagging tongue has, well, tongues wagging. During her explosive performance alongside Jennifer Lopez, the “Hips Don’t Lie” singer looked straight down the lens and let her tongue flap like it was taking off.
The birthday girl’s zaghrouta (an Arabic celebration chant) became the meme of the night. Shakira scored a touchdown. Expect all your friends and family to be tying their tongues in a knot right about now, copying the incomparable Shakira.
