With the release of their sixth mini-album Narcissus, SF9 once again landed themselves another hit on Billboard‘s World Albums chart earlier this month. While fans had took note of the strong, performance-based tracks like lead single “Enough” and “Play Hard,” the album’s success undeniably also comes from its deeper moments as well like the fan-dedicated track “The Beat Goes On” and sentimental synth-pop standout “Life Is So Beautiful.”
When Billboard and Billboard Korea met with SF9 in Seoul, it became a reflective moment where the guys looked back on moments in their careers when they truly thought “Life Is So Beautiful.”
Some members answered the question in a personal way (Ro Woon shared that “when I’m on stage, I feel loved,” and In Seong looked fondly back on his appearance for the Korea-based version of The Masked Singer) while others took a moment to show love for one another (“Being with the members makes life beautiful,” Cha Ni said while Hwi Young reflected on meeting Da Won for the first time).
But every member can agree that their fans play a huge role in making their lives beautiful. “Thank you all, FANTASY,” Da Won said, referring to the band’s fanbase. “Thank you for supporting us. I hope we will be together until the end. All around, our FANTASY, thank you so much.”
