Above & Beyond’s 2018 track “Sahara Love” has received a majestic edit, courtesy of Seven Lions. The producer takes the indie pop-leaning original and puts his signature trance/bass filter on it, turning the song into a full force festival crusher. Both the original track and Seven Lions’ rework, out via Anjunabeats, feature vocals from longtime A&B collaborator Zoë Johnston.
“Super excited to say my remix of Above & Beyond’s Sahara Love is finally out today,” Seven Lions tweeted. “As well as being one of my favorite electronic acts out there, they have shown me and my music love and respect right from the start of the journey.”
The relationship between the British trance legends and the West Coast producer is indeed well-established, as Seven Lions first broke through when his 2012 remix of Above & Beyond’s “You Got To Go” won a Beatport remix contest. On March 28th, he’ll be the special guest at Above & Beyond’s Miami Music Week event. Hear his “Sahara Love” remix below.
