Graham Norton clearly knows this and used his better judgement on Friday’s episode of The Graham Norton Show to pressure the Family Guy creator into performing hits of fellow guest, Cyndi Lauper, despite both them both being clearly a bit uncomfortable about it.
Looking like Ernest Hemingway with a beard and turtleneck, Norton had MacFarlane participate in a game of “Cyndi-oke,” asking him which Family Guy character he would choose to sing Lauper’s “Time After Time” and then “True Colors.” MacFarlane chose Stewie and Peter Griffin, because who else would he do? And the result is pretty hilarious.

“Damn you,” MacFarlane responded to the request at first. And then said in Stewie’s voice, “Bark like a seal you bastard!”
MacFarlane was on the show promoting Ted 2 with co-star Mark Wahlberg, who seemed a bit stiff about the whole thing until Peter came out. Not even he could resist the charm of that fat man’s tender voice.
