Sept. 11 will forever be a date to reflect and remember in the United States. Marking the 17th year anniversary of the deadliest foreign attack on U.S soil in history, the date has evolved into one of remembrance for those lost 17 years ago.
As ceremonies are held at New York City’s own 9/11 Memorial Plaza — as well as in many other locations nationwide — a few celebrities also took a moment to reflect on the date by sharing their thoughts and prayers on Twitter, paying their respects to both the city, the country and those who were lost that day.
