After Rihanna’s highly-anticipated Savage x Fenty Lingerie line finally dropped this morning (May 11,) RiRi fans went to peruse and purchase, but a majority of customers were met with a black screen and were placed into an online queue. A wait time was given to customers, but it apparently fluctuated constantly, and if fans left the digital queue they would have lost their opportunity to buy Rihanna’s goods.
Fans on Twitter were quick to erupt. “Wait I gotta wait an hour just to even look at the website?” wrote one user. “How did my wait time go from 2 minutes to 50 minutes?” wrote another.
Meanwhile, RiRi has been celebrating her big release; the singer threw a massive launch party in New York to celebrate her achievement.
