It’s a homecoming on Saturday Night Live!
Former SNL stars (and current all-around stars) Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are hosting the show together tonight, alongside musical guest Bruce Springsteen. It’s the holiday show, which is always extra-special, and given the alum, expect quite a few surprise cameos to crop up throughout the show. That, and Star Wars jokes. So many Star Wars jokes.
To get ready, we rounded up five of our favorite SNL highlights featuring Amy & Tina together. Check them out below, and then ponder which one of them will come out dressed as a Star Wars character. (Note: Amy shared she’s never been into Star Wars; Tina…well, Tina did this on 30 Rock once.)
1. Sarah Palin/Hillary Clinton
Obviously we have to kick things off with one of the biggest political sketches of all time. A picture-perfect Tina Fey as Sarah Palin as well as Amy Poehler’s always-on-point HIllary Clinton in great comedy about politics, feminism, being a woman in the public eye? Sign us up. Bonus: “I can see Alaska from my house.”
2. “Women’s News”
The two’s natural chemistry was always winning behind the Weekend Update desk, so when Tina Fey returned to the show as host, it was only natural for the pals to get the band back together again, this time delivering a hilarious — and super resonant — defense of Hillary Clinton.
3. “Mom Jeans”
The best commercial parody SNL has ever done. Period.
4. Bush Daughters
Fey was never in a ton of sketches like Amy, but one recurring bit they did together was as Bush daughters Barbara and Jenna. With another Bush in the headlines, it is possible for the bit to make a resurgence?
5. Weekend Update
Another hilarious Weekend Update segment, this time featuring a fresh-off-of-Mean Girls Lindsay Lohan.
