Saturday Night Live is closing out 2016 with a bang.
The final three hosts and musical guests of the year were revealed on the show’s official Twitter account Friday (Dec. 2), and SNL is certainly recognizing some of 2016’s biggest ascendent musicians.
Closing out the year are Shawn Mendes (this weekend, as previously announced), Billboard‘s Women in Music Breakthrough artist Maren Morris (Dec. 10) and Chance the Rapper (Dec. 17). The SNL hosts for the last shows of the year are Emma Stone, John Cena and Casey Affleck, respectively.

SNL has been spot-on with its musical guests this year, featuring some of music’s biggest names (The Weeknd, Bruno Mars, Lady Gaga) while also representing just about every genre (for example, The xx performed the week after A Tribe Called Quest). The final three are no different, bringing in a pop heartthrob, country starlet and, in the words of Kanye West, “the future” of rap — setting the bar awfully high for 2017.
