Saturday Night Live is kicking off its 40th (!) season with a bang (bang).
Guardians of the Galaxy star Chris Pratt will host the premiere episode Sept. 27 with musical guest Ariana Grande. The pairing of the two SNL newbies isn’t exactly a surprise — they both dominated pop culture all summer long.
The following week, Oct. 4, Sarah Silverman will host with musical guest Maroon 5.This will be Maroon 5’s fifth appearance on the show. Silverman was a cast member during the 1993-94 season, but this is her first time as host.
