Upcoming SNL host Sam Rockwell paired with musical guest Halsey and cast member Cecily Strong for this week’s promo for the show airing Saturday (Jan. 13).
The teaser poked fun at Halsey’s lack of capability to win a Golden Globe, as well as her assumption that football fans probably won’t be following up the games by watching this week’s episode of SNL.
Rockwell is coming off of his Golden Globe win for Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, which collected a total of four statues at the award ceremony on Sunday (Jan. 7). Halsey has also had a big year with her album Hopeless Fountain Kingdom hitting No.1 on the Billboard Artist 100 chart in June.
