Following a warm-up show last weekend in New York, RZA and Das EFX will kick off a North American tour Sunday (Nov. 2) in Chicago. The rap acts will visit 23 cities through a Dec. 8 show in Burlington, Vt.
Taking a solo turn from the Wu-Tang Clan, RZA will be out supporting his latest album “Birth of a Prince.” Released Oct. 7 via Sanctuary, the set debuted at No. 20 on Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and No. 49 on The Billboard 200.
Das EFX will be supporting the September release of “How We Do” (UTR). The duo of Krazy Drazyz and Skoob will also be in New York Nov. 4 to perform with Ice Cube on their classic hit “Check Yo Self” for an episode of BET’s “106th & Park” that will air Nov. 7. The 1993 collaboration topped Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart and reached No. 20 on the Hot 100.
