Ryko Distribution will be the exclusive distributor of all Liberation Entertainment video releases in the US beginning October 1.
The agreement covers both new releases and catalog titles. Launched in 2006, Liberation Entertainment offers over 300 film titles & 2500 hours of television in its international sales catalogue.
Some of Liberation’s new theatrical acquisitions that will fall under the RYKO deal include “Eden” from the producers of “Once” and winner of the best actress award at the Tribeca Film Festival; “TOKYO!” from directors Michel Gondry, Leos Carax and Bong Joon-ho, and “Just Buried,” which stars Jay Baruchel.
Liberation Entertainment operates out of offices in Los Angeles and London.
