How many hours did you log in the early ’00s jamming to your favorite moody tunes while staring at Windows Media Player visualizations? It was just so mesmerizing, and those archaic monochromatic things don’t even come close to what RÜFÜS DU SOL just dropped for “Innerbloom.”
The lead single off the trio’s Bloom LP is captivating on its own, but we could seriously sit and watch these swirling watercolor combinations forever. As the song’s energy increases, the patterns move faster and become more intense. Sometimes they seem like views of the Earth from space or exploding nebulae.
