Ruby Rose is rooting for her friend, Demi Lovato.
In the weeks following Lovato’s hospitalization for a reported overdose on July 24, celebrities far and wide have been sharing words of love and support. Rose, who was one of the many who tweeted prayers for her pal on the day the news broke, told People that she’s confident days will look brighter for Lovato.
“She’s a strong girl, and she’s an amazing girl, and she’s gonna definitely come back stronger, for sure,” she said.
On Saturday (Aug. 4), Lovato spoke out about the incident for the first time via a message on Instagram. “I now need time to heal and focus on my sobriety and road to recovery. The love you have all shown me will never be forgotten and I look forward to the day where I can say I came out on the other side,” she wrote. See the full message below.
