In an age where celebrities are perceived as having no flaws and are scrutinized whenever possible, Ruby Rose is armed to shut down those toxic thoughts.
After reading hateful articles and comments about some breakouts on her skin at the Pitch Perfect 3 premiere, the actress took to her Instagram Stories to fire back. “This acne belongs to me, not them, and you are welcome to it,” she wrote on a selfie.
She went on to further explain the issue: “Dermatologist says it’s from the bacteria from all the phone interviews I did for PP3 and a reaction to hotel pillow cases (which I already know).”

The haters even went on to comment about her weight, which naturally Rose immediately responded to.
“It is very important to know what an eating disorder is, to know how to speak about it properly when you have such a platform such as a national newspaper,” she wrote on Instagram.
“From the bottom of my heart I am sorry if those stories triggered anything in anyone,” she continued.
The actress has since turned off the ability to comment on her photos, noting, “This is why we can’t have nice things like Instagram comments.”
