– Princess, formerly of the rap group Crime Mob, has signed a solo artist deal with Warner Bros. Records and is currently working on her debut LP. The MC told Billboard.biz that leaving Crime Mob was a mutual decision between herself and her former group members. Her as-yet-untitled LP is due out in 2009.
– Kanye West released a snippet of his possible second single, “Heartless,”
via the Internet.
– Solange recently filmed the video for her third single, “T.O.N.Y.” in
Harlem last week. The clip will hit video channels in the next few weeks.
– Plies recently released the first single, “Put It On Ya,” from his upcoming third album, “Da REALest.” The LP hits shelves on Dec. 16 via Big Gates/ Atlantic Records.
