Indie-pop artist Rozzi Crane continues to have a stellar 2015 with the release of her EPTime (Oct. 9), a follow-up to her Space EP from earlier this year.
Crane, who was the first artist signed to Adam Levine’s label 222 Records, co-wrote and co-produced each song on the EP, including the song “Jealous,” premiering on Billboard below.
On “Jealous,” which Crane wrote before she went on tour with Maroon 5 earlier this year, the singer shows off her impressive soulful vocals on top of a catchy pop beat.
“’Jealous’ means a lot to me even as it takes on new meaning,” Crane told Billboard. “I think it’s because jealousy is such a varied emotion. You can feel jealousy about a crush, a stranger, or about someone you’ve known forever. It’s not always the prettiest emotion, but it’s definitely an honest one.”
