The release of Royksopp‘s latest album, The Inevitable End, was bittersweet: the duo Svein Berge and Torbjørn Brundtland announced that it would be their final work together. But they haven’t called it quits yet — Monday (Dec. 1) they put out the video for “Skulls.”
“Skulls” is the first song on The Inevitable End. It’s an ominous track with a Vocoder lyric — all build, no release. Fittingly, the video is shot in stark black and white, full of darkness and shadows.
