
Britney Spears gave her fans exactly what they had been asking for by announcing a new Las Vegas residency early next year. The princess of pop’s Domination show will kick off in February 2019 at the Park MGM, more than a year after her Britney: Piece of Me residency at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino ended in December 2017.
Brit isn’t the only music superstar to return to the glitz and glamour of Vegas. See below for a list of the biggest celebrities who have had multiple residencies in Sin City.
1. Celine Dion
Dion brought her vocal powerhouse to Vegas back in 2003 with her A New Day… show, which rocked the Colosseum at Caesars Palace until 2007. In 2011, she announced she’d be returning to the Coliseum for Celine, which draws countless fans to this day.
2. Mariah Carey
Carey’s Number 1 to Infinity took over Caesars Palace from 2015 to 2017, but the icon announced she’s heading back to Vegas in 2019 for The Butterfly Returns show.
3. Elton John
John fits right in with the sparkle of Vegas, where his The Red Piano show lit up the Colosseum at Caesars Palace from 2004 to 2009. Two years later, he returned for The Million Dollar Piano, which still is on today.
4. Cher
Cher is no stranger to Caesars Palace, where she performed from 2008 to 2011. After a three year break, kicked off her latest show at the Park Theater in 2014.
5. Billy Idol
Idol stepped into his Billy Idol: Forever residency in 2016, which spanned for one year. In 2019, he will kick off a 10-date residency at the Pearl Concert Theater in the Palms Casino Resort.
