Rondor Music Publishing has promoted Kevin Hall to VP of urban music. Hall is based in Los Angeles.
Most recently, Hall served as director of urban music at Rondor, where he has been since 2003. Prior to Rondor, he worked at Music Hype, a company noted for building Web sites for record labels such as Atlantic, Warner Bros., Sony and Virgin. Previously, Hall was a VP of A&R for Island Records. He began his career in music publishing at PolyGram Music Publishing, where he served as Director of A&R.
In this expanded role, Hall will continue to work closely with songwriters, sign new writers/artists/producers, and pitch for television and film opportunities. While at Rondor, Hall’s signings have included Kwame, Trak Starz, Underdog Entertainment, Bobby Valentino, Samantha Jade and D.O.C.
