
The third annual Billboard Hot 100 Festival is on August 19 and 20, so to celebrate Billboard Style created a month of Hot 100 Fest-themed Rock the Look episodes featuring looks from four of our female headliners.
This week, we tapped EM Cosmetics Muse (Michelle Phan‘s new vegan and cruelty-free cosmetic line and influencer incubator) and YouTube beauty influencer, Roxette Arisa, to recreate Hot 100 Fest Performer Camila Cabello’s sultry eyes from her new “Crying in the Club” music video. To get the look, Arisa first primed her lids using Maybelline’s Master Prime, and applied the EM Cosmetics Matte Gel Pencil ($15) to her upper lash line. smudging it out with an eyeliner brush. She then dusted MAC Cosmetics eyeshadow in “Saddle” on her lids, adding extra depth with MAC Cosmetics eyeshadow in “Embark”. To bring the sultry drama, the beauty influencer added false eyelashes and mascara, and tightlined her upper and lower water line with the same EM Cosmetics Matte Gel Pencil to make sure there was no blank space. As a final step, Arisa built a tiny gradient on the bottom, smudging “Saddle” under the lashline and blending “Embark” right on top of that.
