Robyn + Royksopp have been taking their joint mini-album “Do It Again” on the road this summer, and on Sunday night (June 29), the former offered up some new tunes during her solo set. Listen to two new tracks — dubbed “Love Is Free” and “Set Me Free” by the Internet at large, although those are unofficial song titles — below:
According to Idolator, Robyn has been performing the unreleased tracks on the Do It Again run, with “Love Is Free” sounding like a sequel to the “Do It Again” dance highlight “Sayit” and “Set Me Free” boldly shimmering like all of Robyn’s best electro-pop anthems. The Do It Again tour kicked off earlier this month at the Sonar Festival in Spain, and has featured individual sets by Robyn and Royksopp before the trio links up to perform their various collaborations.
Robyn told Billboard in May that she is “working on new stuff,” which would presumably be the full-length follow-up to her acclaimed 2010 project “Body Talk.” Royksopp will also be delivering an album “later this year,” according to the duo’s Svein Berge.
Robyn + Royksopp will be performing at a handful of overseas festivals before returning to the States for a show at New York’s Pier 97 on Aug. 20.
