Marc Robinson has been promoted to head of film, TV & advertising for Universal Music U.K. Based in London, he takes the reins at the major’s film, TV & advertising unit following the departure of Tracie London-Rowell.
Until recently, Robinson was head of film at Universal U.K. He joined the company in 2003 from independent group Chrysalis Music.
Robinson will continue as music supervisor for Universal Music U.K.’s TV production division Globe Productions, where he works closely with Universal Music Operations president David Joseph and Globe GM Iain Funnell.
In other news, Paul Veitch has been elevated to senior creative licensing manager, while Greg Turner has been appointed creative licensing manager – film & computer games. Both were film & TV licensing coordinators.
