Robert Finley is living the dream.
At 65-years-of age, and with his sight diminished by glaucoma, the blues singer has a chance for taking the glory on America’s Got Talent Season 14.
The Winnsboro, Louisiana-native gave it his all at the quarterfinal stage of AGT on Tuesday night, when he performed “Starting to See,” an original song based on his journey through the TV talent quest.
Finley, who served in the Vietnam War, then worked as a carpenter to support his family, has a full length LP to his credit and performed on Dan Auerbach’s Easy Eye Sound Review tour in 2017.
“I’m living my dream,” he said in the earlier rounds of AGT. Find out Wednesday night if he made it through to the semis.
