Robbie Williams has unveiled a 15-date European summer tour in support of his new EMI album “Escapology,” released today (Nov. 18) internationally. The trek will begin June 28-29 at the 54,000-capacity Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh. Williams then swings through Europe before wrapping things up Aug. 9 in Dublin.
Tickets for the shows go on sale Nov. 23 to the general public, but a portion of seats are being held for members of Williams’ Inner Sanctum fan organization. More information can be found on the artist’s last month with EMI and is the follow-up to 2001’s “Swing When You’re Winning,” which the label says sold 5.5 million copies worldwide without a North American release.
According to a spokesperson, “Escapology” will arrive in North America in March via Virgin. The single “Feel” is expected to hit U.S. radio outlets in January.
