Ringo Starr has posted a video message on his official Web site informing fans that he will no longer sign any memorabilia or receive fan mail.
During the brief message at http://ringostarr.com/home.php, the former Beatle says he has “too much to do.”
“This is a serious message to everybody watching my update – peace and love,” he said. “I want to tell you, please after the 20th of October do not send fan mail to any address you have.”
Starr said that anything with a postmark after that date will be “tossed.” He added: “No more fan mail and no objects to be signed. Nothing.”
Starr released a solo album, “Liverpool 8” (EMI), in January.
