LeAnn Rimes, Third Eye Blind and Tracy Chapman are among the artists who will perform during the two-day Ben & Jerry’s and Rock the Vote One World One Heart Festival. This year’s event is set for Aug. 23-24 at Bethel Woods in Bethel, N.Y., and will boast two stages of music as well as various activities for concertgoers.
Chapman and Third Eye Blind will be on the opening day’s mainstage, along with Soullive, the Wild Magnolias and Recycled Percussion. The second day will boast Rimes, George Clinton & Parliament/Funkadelic, Hootie & the Blowfish singer Darius Rucker, zydeco artist Terrance Simien and another performance by Recycled Percussion.
Five regional acts will appear each day on the festival’s smaller Green Mountain Stage. The full lineup can be found on the Ben & Jerry’s Web site.
Tickets are $32 per day and can be purchased through the site. In addition, as many as 10,000 free tickets for each day’s show will be awarded through a Rock The Vote initiative. A ticket can be earned by registering two friends to vote through an online process by Aug. 7. Details are available on the site.
