The unveiling of Rihanna‘s latest fashion venture is drawing nigh, and to celebrate she dressed up — or dressed down, technically — in one of her favorite Savage x Fenty pieces five days before the line drop.
Looking like a Moulin Rouge! flashback in the best possible way, Rihanna posed in a black corset and garters combo with minimal jewelry and makeup. In her recent Vogue cover story, the pop star and fashion mogul discussed the inspiration behind the line and its body-positive ethos.
“I’m not built like a Victoria’s Secret girl, and I still feel very beautiful and confident in my lingerie,” she told Vogue, adding that “Savage” is the perfect moniker for the lingerie range because it represents being “really about taking complete ownership of how you feel and the choices you make. Basically making sure everybody knows the ball is in your court.”
