Rihanna is continuing her journey as a fashion powerhouse, and has now partnered with LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton. The two have been in “secret discussions” to launch a luxury house under the star’s name, according to WWD, who first reported the news.
The link-up marks the first brand since 1987 that fashion industry legend Bernard Arnault has launched from scratch. RiRi seems to have teased one of her products recently, stepping out in mega-sunglasses with “Fenty” printed on the temples.
According to WWD, the line will feature “ready-to-wear, leather goods and accessories, and could be released in tandem with her ninth album, expected out sometime later this year.”
