During an appearance on Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live,” “American Idol” runner-up Clay Aiken sat down with Jenna Jameson and host Andy Cohen for a quick, controversial segment.
When Cohen asked Aiken which current pop star wouldn’t make it past the first round of “American Idol,” the season two contestant had some scathing opinions. “Oh god there are too many, too many… I’ve stopped listing to them because they can’t sing,” he said. ” Rihanna has some pitch problems for sure… and now I’m gonna get in trouble.” Watch below:
The singer also played a game of “Kill, Marry, Screw” in which he chose to kill Simon Cowell, screw Ryan Seacrest and marry Randy Jackson — “That’s the obvious choice, right?” Aiken joked.
Aiken was holding nothing back on the Bravo segment, even admitting that rumors about his recent plastic surgery were in fact true. “I had surgery on my jaw for a TMJ thing and I had them suck the fat out of my chin while they were in there. I was like, ‘You know what, while I’m already down, go ahead and take the vacuum in there and suck the fat out of my chin.'”
Currently standing strong on the 12th season of “The Apprentice,” Aiken just released “Steadfast,” a compilation of pop classic covers and select cuts from his career, on March 27.
