With producers off the road, it follows logic that we’ll soon be seeing a lot of new made-in-quarantine music. Two of the dance world’s biggest stars, in fact, just announced they have albums on the way.
Earlier this week, Rezz announced via social media that she’s working on a new album. The LP will be her third studio album and first full-length since 2018’s Certain Kind of Magic, which was released via Mautrap.

Meanwhile today (August 19), Marshmello announced that he’s dropping a new album this year. That LP will follow his 2019 album Joytime III, which hit No. 1 on Billboard‘s Dance/Electronic Albums chart upon its release last June.

Marshmello’s announcement follows a post from earlier this month that seemed to tease a forthcoming collaboration with Demi Lovato. Whether or not this single actually exists and will appear on the new album remains to be seen, but seems like a strong possibility given the timing.
