Andre Harrell has been named vice chairman of Sean Combs’ Revolt TV where he will be charged with creating opportunities for the music-oriented network with technology companies, brands and the music industry.
The Uptown Records founder’s first project is leading the inaugural Revolt Music Conference taking place this October in Miami. Harrell’s focus will be on business development, outreach and strategic partnerships.

Revolt CEO Keith Clinkscales said the conference presents an opportunity for industry professionals to have conversations on the future of the industry with brands and technology leaders as catalysts.
A former president of Motown and Bad Boy Records, Harrell most recently executive produced Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines.” He founded and ran the advertising agency Nu America, working on campaigns for Tommy Jeans, Footaction USA, and Apollo Theater Foundation. He is also vice chairman of Combs Enterprises.
