Reese Lansangan might have made learning a little bit more fun for some kids in Thailand.
The Assumption College Thonburi in Bangkok shared a video showing how Lansangan’s song “Grammar Nazi” is being used as a learning tool in their English Rhetoric and Linguistics (ERL) course.
“We used this song from Philippines artist Reese Lansangan to learn about the verb ‘be’ following singular and plural nouns, avoiding pluralizing uncountable nouns, and apostrophes used with contractions and possessives,” the school said in a statement.
“To have my song reach a different country & have it be used by young children as a tool for learning — it’s a great privilege,” Lansangan tweeted.
Lansangan unveiled her second book, The Maps That Contain Us, on Saturday (Sept. 16) at the Manila International Book Fair.
