For dance music diehards, there’s no bigger party than Miami Music Week. What began as an industry conference for producers and sound engineers has evolved into a sprawling, city-wide celebration of all things EDM, calling hundreds of thousands of fans –– as well as labels, executives and DJs –– to Miami for round-the-clock pool parties, showcases, and of course, the mammoth Ultra Music Festival.
But while the masses descend on Bayfront Park, the VIPs head to Red Bull Guest House, a four-day affair in which the beverage brand turns a South Beach hotel into an intimate industry summit. And this year, for the first time, one lucky winner (and a very lucky friend) can get in on the action: Red Bull has partnered with Billboard to offer a pair of tickets to experience the action as an insider at their 2015 headquarters: Sagamore, The Art Hotel.
What this includes: Access to all four of Red Bull’s invite-only pool parties that feature some of music’s cutting-edge artists, such as ‘Lil Wayne, Chromeo, Pete Tong, Hudson Mohawke, and the legendary HARD Pool Party featuring Duke Dumont, Boys Noize, Justin Martin, and more.
“This scene just doesn’t exist anywhere else,” says Hudson Mohawke of Miami’s electronic music culture. The Scottish producer and Kanye-collaborator is returning to the city for the first time since 2013, and will perform at the Red Bull Guest House on March 28. “As dance music’s culture has diversified, Miami has too, so I’m excited to go back and be in the middle of it again. And Red Bull has supported me from the very, very beginning.”
When: Events are from 2–7pm, Thurs. March 26 – Sun. March 29.
