Bob Weir is “rested, refreshed and ready to rock” according to the Dead’s scotched the band’s planned fall tour, admitting he had “reached a point of complete physical exhaustion.”
At deadline, the Ratdog Web site lists 29 dates with a promise of more to come. The dates kick off Feb. 4 in Anaheim, Calif., and include two-night stands at Verona, N.Y.’s Turning Stone Casino, New York’s Beacon Theatre (with Little Feat) and Washington, D.C.’s 930 Club.
