Demi Lovato was scheduled to appear at the RBCxMusic benefit concert for Kids Help Phone in Toronto on Sunday (June 29) alongside Jason Mraz. In the wake of her reported drug overdose, the event is officially cancelled.
According to a tweet by Live Nation, who was hosting the event, all tickets will be refunded. Mraz retweeted the announcement, adding, “Dear Friends, Due to circumstances beyond our control, we will not be playing in Toronto this weekend.”
“My sincerest apologies to my fans and to the fans of Demi Lovato. We wish her good health & recovery,” he continued. The concert was to raise funds for Kids Help Phone, which provides free online and phone counseling to Canadian youth.
