With a new album around the corner, country act Rascal Flatts has firmed up details of a supporting road trip that will kick off Oct. 2 in Annapolis, Md. Sponsored by Coors Light, the 28-city Here’s To You tour will run through a Dec. 11 show in Wichita, Kan.
Opening acts on the run will be Chris Cagle and Julie Roberts, with Gary Allan taking Cagle’s place for five shows in late October/early November.
Rascal Flatts will release its third album, “Feels Like Today,” Sept. 28 via Lyric Street/Hollywood. The set was recorded in Nashville with producers Mark Bright and Marty Williams, who also assisted with the band’s self-titled 2000 debut and 2002’s “Melt.”
The title track of “Feels Like Today” serves as the first single, and is in the top 20 on Billboard’s Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart.
“Melt” debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart and No. 5 on The Billboard 200. The set has sold 2.13 million copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
