Queens of the Stone Age are heading back on the road again behind 2013’s “…Like Clockwork,” hitting multiple North American cities in addition to sets at festivals across the U.S. in 2014.
According to Radio.com, the Josh Homme-led rock band will hit the road for a handful of shows in the spring months of the year — seven dates in all, not including appearances at Alabama’s Hangout Music Festival, Washington’s Sasquatch! Music Festival and over two weekends at Coachella.
Queens of the Stone Age Won’t Wait as Long for ‘Clockwork’ Follow-Up
After finishing off the band’s current string of U.S. dates in Las Vegas this Thursday (Feb. 13) and playing a number of Australia shows in March, Homme and co. will kick off the next leg of their tour at Coachella, held April 11-13, followed by a show in Portland, Ore., on April 15. The band’s American shows will wrap up at Sasquatch! in late May, followed by an extensive festival jaunt in Europe.
“…Like Clockwork,” the five-piece’s first studio album since 2007, became Queens of the Stone Age’s first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 last June, selling 91,000 copies in its first week.
