Kansas City-based hard-rock act Puddle Of Mudd’s sophomore album, “Life on Display,” will be released Nov. 25 through Flawless/Geffen Records. The group has also set a short club tour for the weeks leading up to the release of the long-delayed set.
The tour will kick off Oct. 23 in Chicago and hit 13 major markets in North America through a Nov. 10 engagement at Philadelphia’s Theater of the Living Arts. The gigs — at which a number of songs from “Life on Display” will be debuted — will primarily take place in small clubs, a switch from the larger theaters and festivals that the group has played in recent months.
“Life on Display” is the follow-up to 2001’s debut “Come Clean,” which peaked at No. 9 on The Billboard 200 and has sold 3.5 million copies in the U.S., according to Nielsen SoundScan. The first single from the new album, “Away From Me” was shipped to radio this week.
