Universal Music Poland has restructured its executive team. Andrzej Puczynski has been promoted to chairman from managing director of the company. He continues to chair Zpav, the local IFPI group.
Meanwhile, Jan Kubicki has been appointed general manager of the Warsaw-based firm, reporting to Victor Antippas, president of central and eastern Europe at Universal Music Group International. Until now, Kubicki has headed the Universal Poland-owned label Magic Records.
Speaking on his appointment, Kubicki says “My aim is to implant the Magic way of working, where dynamic people with passion for music are dedicated to, and responsible for all aspects of their projects.”
At Magic Records, the label’s international A&R manager Monika Kaminska steps up to GM.
