Romeo, Prince Royce, Don Omar and Maná are among the acts nominated for the 25th annual Premio LoNuestro music awards, taking take place at Miami’s American Airlines Arena on Feb. 21.
Bachata singers Romeo and Prince Royce each top the list of nominated artists with seven nominations each, while reggaeton artist Don Omar and Mexican rock band Maná are each nominated for six prizes.
Several artists received five nods, including regional Mexican act Jenni Rivera and La Arrolladora Banda El Limón de René Camacho, pop duo Jesse & Joy and DJ Juan Magán.

Colombian rocker Juanes and tropical singer Victor Manuelle received four nods each while pop singers Sanz, Rubio and Chino y Nacho are competing for three prizes as is Mexican crooner Gerardo Ortiz, who in October took seven trophies at the Billboard Mexican Music Awards including Artist of the Year.
This year’s Premio Lo Nuestro nominees for new artist of the year are 3BallMTY, Magán, Kary Hernandez and Henry Santos.
Nominations are based on data by Nielsen Broadcast Data Systems. Winners will be determined by popular vote from Dec. 3 to Dec. 23 at 11:59 p.m. (ET) at PremioLoNuestro.com. The show airs 8-11 p.m. on Univision.
