One more recent show that has come up frequently is his 2008 headlining set at Coachella — a rare festival appearance for His Purpleness.
The Indio-rocking set will surely go down as one of Coachella’s greatest moments, with Prince showing off a selection of his own personal recording catalog and songs he wrote for others (the Time and Sheila E. among them), as well as a wide array of covers that ranged from Santana to the B-52s, Sarah McLachlan, the Beatles and more.
