If you’re a big hit at festivals, it’s only right that you try your hand at planning one.
Pretty Lights has been working his way up to an international party brand for years. He had the successful, ante-upping Basslights tour with Bassnectar in 2015, and then in 2016, he took the two-day Episodic Festival Tour on the road to great acclaim. In August, he’ll throw a festival at The Gorge Amphitheater in Washington, and today, news breaks of his biggest live music project yet; a four-day music festival at the Waldorf Astoria Resort in Fajardo, Puerto Rico.
Island of Light will include a live performance from the head honcho, alongside headliners Thievery Corporation, Atmosphere, Tycho, Gramatik, Cut Copy, and more. It’s a mix of jam bands and heady dance music in a beautiful island setting, and it comes to life Thursday, Dec. 7 through Sunday, Dec. 10.
