
In a surprise move, Chloe Walsh, co-founder and managing partner of Press Here Publicity, will join Grandstand Media after 12 years at the company. Walsh brings with her a roster that includes Mark Ronson, Arctic Monkeys, The Kills, Franz Ferdinand, Conor Oberst, Laura Marling, Karen Elson and others. She officially starts at Grandstand on Feb. 1.
“Grandstand are a formidable, vibrant company of true music enthusiasts and a fantastic roster of international talent,” says Walsh, who launched Press Here in 2004 with Linda Carbone after several years at Girlie Action. “I couldn’t be more excited join forces and bring my artists into such a stellar organization.”

Founded in 2012 by Kate Jackson and Meghan Helsel (formerly of Sub Pop and Jensen Communications, respectively) and merged with 2:30 Publicity (run by Lisa Gottheil and Dana Erickson) the following year, Grandstand has offices in New York and Los Angeles and 15 publicists under its umbrella. Carina Contreras comes over from Press Here with Walsh.
Current Grandstand clients include The National, Tame Impala, Courtney Barnett, The xx, CHVRCHES and others, as well as Red Bull Sound Select and festivals and venues including Newport Folk Festival, Pickathon, The Theatre at Ace Hotel DTLA and Sasquatch! Music Festival.
