President Obama told kids to go nuts eating candy and did some of the “Thriller” dance with First Lady Michelle Obama at the White House Halloween party. But, as it turns out, he also busted out a bit of Prince‘s “Purple Rain” in honor of a trick-or-treater dressed as the Purple One. The boy’s uncle, Gary Williams, posted a video of the magic moment from Monday’s party, where his nephew was adorably dressed in full Prince regalia.
Obama loved the look, saying, “Hey, Prince, what’s going on man!” as the little guy walked up to collect his sugar snack from the president, who busted out a chorus of “Purple Rain” in honor of the tribute to the late rock icon. “When @BarackObama sees your nephew dressed as Prince & starts singing Purple Rain!,” Williams wrote.
